“This excursion is not appropriate for tourist staying in Mombasa and surrounding areas. The park is 3 hours each way which allows for approximately 4 hours in the park. Tour operator stops at tourist trap on way to and from park. Guests are pressured to make a purchase and expected to eat in the restaurant before returning home. Poor communication by Viatour. We were told only USD accepted when in fact only credit cards are. No quoted amenities(water) were provided. Due to arrival and exit times you miss peak animal viewing time. This trip is too long for the amount of enjoyment.”

The Voi Wildlife Resort was convenient with an amazing watering hole overlooking the dining area for wildlife viewing and the outdoor pool was a welcome relief from the heat. “Safari at Tsavo east was an incredible exciting experience , we saw a lot of animals , elephants, giraffes, hippos, many kind of antilopes, impala, warthogs, ostriches, zebras , and at the end on our way back to the gate, a family of 7 lionesses and little lions laying on the side of the road , amazing !!!
